This fits with my tree. I have Richard Carne (1729-1800) whose mother was called Susanna (1691-1771), Richard was born in the parish of Milor, Cornwall.

The Carne family apparently settled in Cornwall with the marriage of the heiress of Tresillian of Tressilian in the parish of Newlyn.

I have found that Nicholas Carne maried Blanche Kerne alias Tresillian 29th August 1631. Blanche inherited from the Kerne/Kearne/Tresillian line. I do not know how to connect Nicholas Carne with Thomas Carne, father of William, father of Richard (detailed above).
