Need more info on Annie Carnett

Metlock b: 1810 Died 1894
Zilpha Lylla Bain Roberts
Annie M. Roberts b: 1839 died: 1914
What i really need is infomation on their daughter Annie,as I think she maybe my real g-grandmother but all info would be nice . All I have is that she was married to a James W. Carnett ( Cornett ). They had two sons I know of William Walter and James P. They might have had another son named Clifton. She later married my g-grandfather John T. Denison ( Dennison, Deniston, Denniston) and moved to Eagle Town, Il. where in the 1880 census it shows them living . John was married previous to Matilda Smith. John and Matilda lived in Crittenden Co. as did James and Annie.
What I need is when and where John and Annie were married and when they died.

Murder of Lula Carnett

I was hoping someone had further information on this story:
Gallatin Democrat, Shawneetown, Illinois, 14 August 1930

SLAYER OF SISTER-IN-LAW IS STILL AT LARGE

Elmer Carnett, who drove to the home of his brother, James Carnett, residing in Eagle Creek township, near Horseshoe, last Tuesday evening, and fatally shot his sister-in-law, Mars. James Carnett, and made his escape, has thus far evaded the toils of the law.
It is thought he is hiding in the hills near his home and his apprehension is momentarily expected by those who are engaged in the search for him.
A reward of $200 has been posted by James Carnett and Jess Dennison, husband and brother of the slain woman.

I could not find any further mention of the murder or an obituary for Lula Dennison Carnett.

He married a Mary Ann Hamilton and as far as I can gather their children are Maggie, Vernon, Claude, Floyd, Myrtle, Velma, Nora, plus two that died at a very young age. Let me know if this is any part of your line.
Robin

I don't recognise any of the names for Carnett at Batesville,AR but there must have been some relation. My Carnett ancestor came from North Carolina and received land as payment for service in the war of 1812. The land was in Scott County. I have heard that some of the Carnetts went to Missouri during the Civil War and have heard from several people whose ancestors did the same thing, but I have not been able to establish a link.
