I'm looking for information on Washington Carothers born abt.1833 in Ohio. He married Mary Ann Cathcart abt. 1856 in Rock Island, Illinois. His son John was born 1859 in Illinois, soon after the family moved to Pepin county, Wisconsin. Both parents had passed away by 1870, the children were raised by neighbors. I would really appreciate ANY information on Washington's parents, or extended family. I think he possiably had a sister named Mary Jane, and a brother Samuel???? They both were married in the same location about that time.
