I have come to a dead end on my hunt for the Carpentiers from Belguim. Lapschuere, Belguim to be more exact. I know Medard Carpentier married Romanie Van Nevel Carpentier. If anyone has more info, especially parent's names of either I would love to have it.

JOHN BAPTISTE CARPENTIER m. 19-Jan-1819 to Eleanor DUPUIS, New Madrid, MO. One daughter, Olive Alizare aka "Eliza," married Etienne TOULOUSE, and another daughter, Rosanna, married James E. NIMERICK.
JB's father was EPHRAIM CARPENTIER and his mother's last name was ARCHER. Eleanor's father was ISADORE DUPUIS and her mother was MARIE DEROUSSE.
Any connections to PHILLIPE HENRI CARPENTIER? Any info will be appreciated.

I only know that my great grandfather came to the USA thru
Mass., and some remained there and had families.
Lowel Ma. was on my families record, but 3 generations away,
and I have not reserched that.

This is my husband's family and I've hit a HUGE wall. Looking for Albert b.1896 d.1967 in Lowell, MA. Married Marion Cecile "Cecilia" Verranault (b.1900 d.1978) in 1919 in Lowell. They have 5 children--Richard, Constance, Armand, Lorraine, and George. I have info on the kids but NOTHING more on the parents. PLEASE help!

Carpentier, William A. "Bill," 72, of Webster Groves, Mo., died at home Sunday, October 5, 2008, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Born in St. Louis on Dec. 11, 1935, to J. Roy Carpentier and Alice Elizabeth (nee Wallhermfechtel), Bill lived in Webster Groves for the past 45 years. A self-employed general contractor, he was a project manager for large commercial developments. He was a lifetime member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Webster Groves. Yes, I believe we would be, Alfred was my great great grandfather...but interestingly enough I did not have your grandparents in my database till you mentioned it...I could not find the marriage in the Ontario Vitals Index but did find the marriage in the parish register...wonder if it is indexed correctly..hmmm...

I have some of the local history books that have the Dubuc family with pictures and all...let me know if there is anything I can look up for you.

My husband is also related to this Salois family Julie Salois and Anselme LaPlume were his ggrandparents. I live in the Lawrence area. I was not aware that Joseph died there. Any more info on the family would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. My father Albert Dubuque married Blanche Lacourciere. My grandfather Alfred Dubuc was maried to Rose Hebert. G.G. grandfather Alfred Dubuc married Sara Carpentier. That is all I can remember as I am in Northern Alberta and my documents are at home. I was born in Crystal Falls. I have the complete history of Rose Hebert as well. Will send you all I have on both and also have complete history on Lacourciere as well. It is great to find we are related!

I see your father was brother to Marie, my grandmother, that makes us second cousins. After checking your profile,I see that you live in Field. Some of my relatives went up to visit in the late 80's.I was told that there were alot of cousins up there. I would like to know more about the Dubuc family history.

The marriage: August 27, 1850 in Cap Santé, QC
Her father is Jean-Baptiste Carpentier and the mother Angelique Godin.

Raymond Carpentier, aged 23 years, 8 months, of 201 Princeton boulevard, died yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph's hospital, Nashua, N.H., from injries received in an automobile accident yesterday morning. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. (Amy Chalifoux) Carpentier; one sister Hazel, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alf. Chalifoux. The body was taken to this city to the funeral home at 205 Pawtucket street by Funeral Directors Amedee Archambault & Sons.

David Devos married Sylvia Pauwels in Hooglede and together they had about 6 children. One of those children was Cyriel, who moved to America in the 1920's (first to ND, then to MI) and married Leonie Serruys of Waardamme, Belgium. Looking for information on Alice Carpentier married to Walter S. Alley, early 1900's, NYC. Walter died in 1923 and is buried in the Alley plot in Green-wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Could not find a listing for his wife.

Have quite a bit of information on the Alley family, but know little about Alice or Walter or their children, if any. They may have possibly had 1 child named Kendall.

Sara Carpentier married Alfred Dubuc in 1950. They had at least one son, Alfred Dubuc who married Rose Hebert. The are my grand parents.
Alfred Dubuc and Rose Hebert had many children, one of which was my father, Albert Dubuc, born in 1898 and died in 1975.

I know that Sara Carpentier married my great grand father Alfred Dubuque in 1850 at Cap Sante, Qc
They had at least one son I know of who was my grandfather. Hi name was Alfred as well and married Rose Hebert in Maniwaki Qc in 1881.
I am also looking for Sara Carpentier's ancesters. Her father and mother etc.

Flora Lavon Carpentier, 94, of Chino, died June 20, 2006 at her home in Chino. Mrs. Carpentier was born January 29, 1912 in Sioux City, Iowa and had lived in Minnesota, Tehachapi, and Pomona, prior to moving to Chino in 1994. She was a member of Inland Community Church in Chino and had been a volunteer at the Claremont Care Center in Pomona. Survivors include her daughter Doris Hamilton of Chino, a son Gene Zimmerman of Florida, grandchildren Denise Leyk of Chino and David Leyk of Apple Valley, and her great grandson Daniel Leyk of Texas.
