Hello all Carpio's. I was just browsing the internet and happened to end up in this family website.
Likewise, I am so thrilled to learn that there are so many Carpio's living in different parts of the world.
I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but originated from the Philippines. Although I was born and lived in Manila, my grandfather was from the Visayan Region of the Philippines (from Aklan). I, too, will be so thankful to get info where the surname CARPIO originated.
I heard a story from somewhere when I was young which goes like this: Our great greatgrandfather was a womanizer and had kids with all his women and all his kids scattered all over the world. How true this story is, I don't know.
When I was in my elementary grades, there were three of us Carpios in the same class, so I think there are lots of Carpios in the Philippines. Isn't it awesome if we are all related. I would love to hear more news about my last name.
Thank you all.
