My great-greatgrand father was Domingo Carpio and was married to Basilia Licon. They had a son named Jorge Carpio, born about 1844, and he was a native of San Diego. He married Juana Altamirano. One of their children, Pedro Carpio, is my grandfather. My dad is Pedro Carpio, Jr. and my brother is Pedro III. I have this information from my greatuncle's birth certificate.
