Mary Ann Carr and Richard Curtis Campbell are my great-great grandparents, but I can find no documentation on them other than being listed in family trees and rumored through the family grapevine :). I finally am a paid member to ancestry.com in hopes that I can get copies of marriage licenses, death certificates, etc...something more concrete than someone saying this is how it was.

I was told and sent emails with family info several years ago, that Mary Ann Carr was born in May 1847 in Barren County, KY to John and Mahala Carr. The 1910 Census of Wise County Texas shows she was living with her son Jim and his family. My father had always been told she died during the trek to Texas; everyone's family tree info says she died in Putnam County TN. I have to find a death certificate for either place.

If you have any info, especially recorded docs or newspaper articles, I would really appreciate it if you could share with me. Thanks in advance.
