Im trying to do a family tree on my fathers side. I am having a problem finding information about my family. My Great grandmother was named Guadalupe Carrasco we believe she had 4 children
2 from Andres Munoz ( a Maria Carrasco and Lucio Carrasco, Maria had a daughter named Agustina Rosales Hernandez )and 2 from a Flores ( Delfino Flores and a Josefina Flores) so the storry goes. Lucio Carrasco and Eleazar Cobos Marichalar had my Father Lucio Marichalar Carrasco jr ,Vicente Marichalar Carrasco and Rebecca Marichalar carrasco. I believe some of the problem is that my Great grandmother gave my Grandfather her maiden name.Lucio Carrasco died I believe arround 1964. If anyone has ANY information that might help me with my research it would be greatly appreciated. The spelling of my relatives should be very close but have no documentation of the exact spelling yet

J. Carrasco Herder From California

I am researching a Jose Carrasco that is my g-g-grandmother's father. Per census records and oral history that was written down at the turn of the century, they indicates Jose was born in California \about 1845 and both his parents were from Mexico. He became a herder and moved from California to New Mexico. From there he travelled with a group of men that would be his longtime friends and associated herders. He herded between New Mexico and Montana. I know he had one daughter named Sarah (Sallie; g-g-grandmother) b. 1867 in Montana. Although the written accounts detail his life for 2-3 pages, there is no real mention of his parent (ie names, etc) or potentially other siblings or children. Can any one help with this?

I was told that there is Mescalero, Apache and/or Tarahumara, Raramuri lineage from
Carrasco side. My ggrandfather's name was Enrique Carrasco born in Shafter texas, and they use to call him Big john on the reservation in New Mexico. Does any of this sound familiar? Please get back to me, I am anxious to know my heritage! Thank you!

Mi tio Lucho tuvo 5 o 7 hijos y varios varones tambien.
