Do you know the names of the people that you are looking for? That might help out a little more. I am a Carrero from NYC (its my dad side of the family) He is looking for more information on his side (my grandfather). My grandfather died in a car accident when my dad was small (my father was the passenger in the car), he only knows a little bit about his dad's side. Maybe we might be related....but need more info

My mother, Monserrate Carrero y Carrero died when I was a baby. I know her parents died when she was little and she was raised by her grandmother and then by an uncle. I understand she was born in Rincon, Puerto Rico. I have no information on her parents names, her grandparents, any siblings. I was the only child she and my father, Porfirio Mendez Quinones, had. They lived in Mayaguez when she died around 1948-49. My uncle who raised me said the family had a store by El Malecon in Mayaguez. If anyone has any info, please contact me. Thanks for your reply. This is a long shut; the Carrero I am looking was known in the neighborhood (so yours is a great candidate). My great-great grandfather was the result of a relationship on that time; he was known by the nickname "carrerito" by the locals as they knew who was his father. Since he was not recognized his mother gave him her's father name Antonio Rivera. In the 1910 US Census he shows up as Antonio Rivera-Carrero... There is only one line male descendant from him and we are trying to have that male do a DNA test... Well, thats the story... I was hoping that someone from the Carrero's descendant side had some families storied thad might relate to that...

I don't know if this can be my Grandfather Luis Carrero who sold clothes from a cart down the street in Añasco. My father was born in 1930 and was the youngest of his 3 brothers and I think 2 sisters it my have been 1 sister and my grandfather was born in early 1890's.

My father was David Carrero,Sr. and my Grandfather was Luis Carrero. He died sometime in 1977 or 1978. I think our grand fathers could have been brothers. We have a house in Tres Hermanos in front of the beach in Añasco, PR. I think that my Greatgrand father was named Flor I could be wrong. Thats all I got from my aunt before she died.

Buenas, mi nombre es Luis Augusto Bonet y mi abuelo era Mariano Bonet Santos. Su padre era Francisco Bonet y Feliciano y su madre era Monserrate Santos y Carrero. Usted menciona que su abuelo era Domingo Bonet y Santos y que nacio en 1893. Yo he buscado los hermanos y hermanas de mi abuelo y el unico que nacio en 1893 fue Florencio Bonet y Santos. Se que mi abuelo tuvo una hermana que se llamaba Dominga. Quisiera saber si estos concuerda con su informacion.

Hello, my name is Carlos Carrero. My family is also from the Anasco and Rincon area. My uncle is Rafael Carrero, not sure if this is your dad as I have never met him just seen pictures and videos that my father has. Juan Carrero is also the name of my Great Uncle, my Great-grandfather was Pedro Carrero. My father's name is Jesus Carrero and like you said this is a very big family. Any help would be appreciated.

there was a Baltazar Carrero who lived in NYC. but later on moved to Mayaguez and had a warehouse/sort of a store. he was famous in the 1950's for he was a foklore singer.

not sure year he was born sometime in the 1800s he had a brother named cruz carrero. He would've been born in Rincon barrio Atalaya or Añasco.

Cerrero family Santa Cruz De terreni fa Spain

I am searching for anyone who knows of a Cerrero family from Santa Cruz De terreni fa Spain , I was told by my paternal grandfather that my grandmother came from Santa Cruz De terreni fa Spain last name Cerrero and there is a statue in this town of a Cerrero who is supposed to an ancestor, the grand mother emigrated to Perto Rico ,she died in 1966, but this has been passed to me by a grandfather now 101 years of age

My grandmother's brother was Rafael Carrero. My great-grandfather was Juan Carrero. Rafael was born on 11-09-02 and married a lady named Carmelita. They had nine children, one of which was Juan Reinaldo, but called Johnny. He was probably born around '28.

I am looking for any info on family Carrero from Rincon. My father was Rafael Blanco dob 11-29-32. My grandmother was Amelia Carrero (Blanco) dob 6-8-10. My great-grandfather was Juan Carrero Garzon dob 9-27-57, Juan was married four times-
wife #1 Ricarda Arroyo Carrero. dom approx 1876
wife #2 Carmen Ramos Arizmendi Carrero dom approx 1897
wife #3 Isabel Ramos dom approx 1915
wife #4 Josefa Ortiz dom approx 1917
He also had a relationship with Natividad Martinez in 1874 which produced one child Maria Martinez.
Other family names from marriages of daughters of these relationships are Quinones, Fussa, Blanco, Martinez, Rivera, Abreu, and Fernandez.
If you can provide me with any further info I would appreciate it.
