Henry Carrick, the son of John Francis and Mary Carrick Jr, was born 19 December 17656, in Prince George's County, Maryland. On 25 November 1789, he applied for a marriage license in Anne Arundel County31 to marry Dorcas (Darky) Clarke, the daughter of Benjamin Clarke.7 Dorcas was born about 1770 and died sometime before August 1859.**
