E. Nadine Buck 89, of Terre Haute died 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, in Meadows Manor North. She was a homemaker. She was born July 24, 1916, in Vigo County to Charles Carrithers and Edna Maink Carrithers. Her husband of 64 years, Carl Buck, whom she married May 30, 1938, died April 25, 2003.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Paulette and Robert Cottrell of Rosedale, Peggy and John Stone of Overland Park, Kan.; two sisters, Catherine Adams of Lafayette, Tenn., and Betty Jeffers of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David C. Buck; one daughter, Margaret Ann Buck; one brother, Cyrus Carrithers; and two sisters, Fern Starr and Mary Tigg.
She was a member of Northside Community United Methodist Church.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home in Rosedale, with her grandson, Benjamin Buck officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery in Prairie Creek. Visitation is 9:00 a.m. until services Saturday.
