I am transcribing info regarding the Milwaukee Wisconsin County Poor Farm and came across this name and info. Since so many people are lost in these situations I hope this might help someone in their search.

Date of Health Department Certificate Jan 16, 1919.
Dock Carrithers died Jan 11, 1919 at County Hospital in Wauwatosa Wisconsin of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Buried in Lot B Grave 187. Date of Burial Jan 16, 1919.

Please note that these graves no longer exist and whereabouts of remains are unknown. We're working hard to get a lot of information posted. Would appreciate knowing if anyone claims this man.

Dear David:

It was so wonderful to finally find someone out there that knew about my fathers family. For many years, I have tried to find out more about my fathers' side of the family. He has since passed on, but his family I never met. I know I have relatives out there that I may never meet without someone's help.

It would be an honor to display my family coat of arms. Please send me as much information about the Carrithers name, and where we come from; as well as, a picture of our coat of arms.

It is most appreciated. And, David, thanks again for letting us know where we came from.

Sincerely,

Sunny Dowd
(aka, Vickie Lynn Carrithers, born the daughter of Darrell S. Carrithers, and Eva Lorraine Watson of Terre Haute, IN, in 1958: I was actually born in Indianapolis, IN.)
