I belive I am a distant cousin of jamesharrison646. My grandfather was Gabriel Corriveau who married Regina Simoneau who had 3 children Dorothy, Armond Joseph (my father) and Raymond Joseph. Armond married Dorothy Hebert and had 4 children Adele, Carol, Joann (me) and Joseph. Gabriel and Regina resided in Central Falls RI, Maine, Massachussetts and Florida. My grandfather had a brother "Brod".

I have info on your great grandfather. We know him as Ovide Carriveau (b. 7-11-1876 Quebec;d.Oct 1956 in Oconto, WI), he married Delina Noel 4-16-1901 and after her death in 1927, he remarried. Ovide/Edward is my husband's great grandfather also. We have gaps on the Noel side if you'd like to exchange info that would be great!

My uncle Clarance Carriveau lived in Oconto until around 6 years ago. He recently died. Please let me know if I can be of help.

I'm researching my family on my mothers side which is from Oconto, Wisconsin. The furthest I can get with her fathers side is her father was Edward T. Carriveau (Born 11 May 1914) and married Betty Jane Topel. His father was Edward Carriveau and married Delina Noel. I have a lot of info for Delina's side but my great grandfather must have been quite the elusive guy. Any help would be great!!

Francois Adolphe, spouse of Emilie Guerin is the s/o Eustache Benomi Corriveau & Reine Pepin who were maried on aug 19 1823 in Gentilly, Quebec, Canada. I have some info on his ancestors and descendants.

Your grand-ma was one of the 13 children of Philias "Félix" Carriveau and Marie-Louise Rousse who were maried on july 7th 1908 in Coleman WI.

If that's the name, believe me; somehow somewhere back along the line we are all related! I didn't find your family in the info I have. I descend from Pierre Pelagie (Coutu) Corriveau.....Pierre Rose (DeRosiers) Corriveau......Ralph Virginia (Ducharme) Corriveau (Carvo) and Max Carvo. They ended up in the Harrisville, Alcona Co area of MI. Good luck with yours!

I was wondering if someone could help me with my background on the Carriveau side. I have very limited information.

My great grandparents were Felix and Marie Carriveau of Oconto, WI. My grandmother was (Violet) Elaine and she had many brothers and sisters who mostly live in Wisconsin to this day.

I would appreciate any information on the roots of this family!

I am researching the Carriveau/Cereveau in Oconto, Oconto, WI and am in need of help.

My GGGrandmother is Hellen/Ellen Carriveau b.24Jun1872 in Oconto, Oconto, WI. She married Philip Belongia on 16Apr1888. She died on 06Mar1946 in Green Bay, Brown, WI. They had the following children: My GGrandfather, Oscar Belongia, Hector, Edmund, Elyza, Frances P., Cecilia Ellen, Louis Philip?, Carl, Libby, Elmer, and Virginia .

Hellen's parents were Frank Carriveau of Canada and Mary Rosbun/Rosebonne b.16Jan183_. Frank and Mary were married on 20Dec1859 and had the following children: Hellen, Leona, and Felix. I have Frank's parents as Antony/Antone Carriveau and Louisa/Luisine (last name unknown). Mary parents as Theore Rosebonne/Reevebum and Julia. Frank had one brother: John Baptiste b. around feb1847 and married to a Pelaie Rosban/Rosebonne.

I have no further information on the Carriveau's so any help, information, or the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Just to make it straight: Antoine was born on oct 31st 1823 in Louiseville Quebec Canada and died on nov 5th 1897 in Spruce, Oconto, WI. He maried Sophie Deserre on feb 3rd 1845 in St-Leon le Grand, Quebec, Canada. They had 12 children. Need anything on the Corriveau, I have 9000 descendants of the first one in America.
