I have learned so much since the year 2000. I now know that William was born in 1876, and died in 1909 from tubercuolosis.
He was the second child of JOhn Carroll and Margaret Murphy.
First child Sarah Carroll, 2, William, 3rd child John Carroll,
4th and 5th the twins Charles and Edward (my grandfather.
My grandfather died in 1919 from same disease tuberculosis.
They all were born in Orangetown, Rockland County New York
and moved to Jersey City \N.J. around 1894/1895 and stayed there until their death,.
