Hi. My mother and I are researching the family of a friend of mine, and I noticed that you might have some information on some Rosleys.

We're looking for information regarding a Thomas Rossley b. 1824/5 who was but for a time lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia; buried in Hartford, CT. The thing is that we can't figure out where he was born in Scotland or Ireland (or even somewhere else). Also, we thought that maybe he was born in one and perhaps immigrated to Canada from the other.

Since one of the seven brothers you've mentioned was named Thomas, I thought I would take a long shot to see if maybe there's any connection. Plus you said he "dissappeared" so I had the unlikely hope that maybe he's your missing guy. Maybe Ann/Catherine named her son after her brother or father or something?(probably not even a cousin, but you gotta try, right?).

My mother isn't here at the moment, so I don't have access to all of the info, but perhaps you have something that could help?

Even if it turns out that there isn't a connection, that would still be wonderfully helpful!
