Hello, I am not a Bridges or Carroll relative, but I do have information on Irena Jane Carroll and her marriage to Joseph Carter Bridges. One of their sons was my father's best friend for life. They are now all deceased, but I do not believe that any of their sons is interested in genealogy, so will try to help you as I can.
First let me state that I post my provable information on findagrave.com. As a result, you will see some numbers on many of these persons. Those numbers are their ID numbers on findagrave.com (FAG).

Elvie Fay Bridges born 25 Jul 1918 died 20 Jan 2003, Santa Paula, Ventura, California (burial location unknown) 43312859 (three surviving sons - info in obit on FAG)
Jaunita Bridges born 1921 (last of the line). It is my understand she lives here in Bolivar, but at this time I have not reached out to her. I should soon, or she will be gone too. When I knew Juanita, her married name was either Satterfield or Sutterfield and they lived in Santa Paula. I have found her here in Bolivar with the last name of Seiner, but that marriage was performed in 1941, so I am unsure what that means. She might have divorced the Satterfield, and returned to Bolivar reassuming her first married name, but that is speculation on my part at this time.
I knew the last three children, Elvie and his wife Oneita and their children quite well. Elvie was my father's best friend. If you will further check the FAG memorials, you will find all the information I know of relating to this family.
I hope this information helps you. If you are able to answer any of the questions I have posed here, please do so. I would welcome additional information even though they are not my family, as my father grew up with them. I forgot to tell you that all of the children were born in Polk County Missouri. I did not state that individually as it was the same for all.
