Hi Lisa, Samuel Carruthers was btd.7/7/1816 his parents were John Carruthers and Jane. He had 2 brothers that are recorded John btd. 22/2/1818 and William btd. 7/2/1813. Samuel married Margaret Crosthwaite 24/10/1838 at St. Cuthbert's Carlisle. Records show 3 children Isabella 24/2/1839, John 15/11/1840 and Thomas Crosthwaite 10/7 1842.Also shown William Carruthers (Scosby) and wife Mary A with 3 children Richard 1873, Rose 1877 and Jenny 1880.
