Surnames: Carson, Burger
I am having a hard time connecting my GGrandmother, Rose Etta Carson to other Carsons. She was born 3 Jan 1864 in Jasper, IA and died 19 Nov 1931 in Clark Co, Wash. She married Alfred Shaver (John) Burger. They had children: Lillie, Landon, Alfred, Effie May, Mattie L., Sydney and Alice D. Effie May was my grandmother. There were stories that the family was related to Kit Carson. Any help would be appreciated.
