I am seeking any information about my GG Grandfather Micheal Carthy, his wifes name was Mary Ann(Maiden name n/k),their son James.also born in Ireland abt 1835. The family came to England around 1840? and moved to the Manchester/Salford area. If anyone thinks they may have a connection in Ireland please get in touch.

Richards fathers name was Joseph Carthy from Newmarket Street in Dublin. His fahter was James Carthy who married Mary Ann Doyle they lived in 60 Francis Street there son Thomas Carthy was the last of them he died aged 78 in 1953. Lived in 60 Francis Street all his life if any one out there knows this family get back to me.
