Hello and welcome!

This is the message board of the Casablanca family surname. The name originally came from Italy and the island of Corsica (the same island Napoleon was born). I have been able to trace my personal family tree to a "Jacinto Casablanca" who was born in Cadiz, Spain and, apparently came over to Puerto Rico while it was still a colony of Spain. I am interested in getting information from Jacinto such as when he shipped out of Spain and why.
