According to family tradition, he was married to Nancy REYNOLDS, named in the 1850 census as Nancy CASSADY, head of household, age 61, presumed widowed, living with William, 20, a known son. Nancy was born in Canada per the 1850 census, but family tradition says she was from Scotland immigrated to Canada and then to Ohio.

The descendants of Lucas and Nancy associated with my family use the CASADY surname.
