I wonder if we are looking at the same line....my 3xgreat grandfather was named Thomas Casement born in 1826 in Ireland before moving to Canada and marrying. I'm struggling to find his parents. I believe his mother's name may have been Mary, who immigrated to Canada with Thomas when she was a widow. I think his fathers name may have been Thomas from Antrim.

My grandmother (Harriet Jean Casement, daughter of Thomas Henry Hulbert Casement (b 1891) -> Hugh Casement(b 1856) -> Thomas Casement (b 1826)) once told us that we were related to Sir Roger D Casement through her, but I have not yet been able to figure out exactly how.

Any info would be appreciated! :)
