I have her as Lydia Boland Cassels (My 4th great grandmother). She is the second wife of Robert Robin White. She had 2 children, Arthur White and Mary Polly White. Mary Polly White is my 3rd great grandmother. Mary Polly White married James White. They are both buried at Enon Cemetery in Mississippi.

Elizabeth Cassels married John Sibley

Hi, I am trying to find information on Elizabeth Cassels born 1757 in Va. and died 1815, but don't know where. She married John Sibley born 1758 in Va. or Ms. and married Elizabeth 1785. He died 10-1-1845 in Amite Co. Ms. They had a daughter named Patsy Ann Sibley born about 1800 in Amite Co. Ms. and died between 1839 - 1843 in Gillsburg, Ms. She married Charles Jedediah Wall. They are my GGG Grandparents. John and Elizabeth Cassels Sibley are my GGGG Grandparents. Thanks in advance for any help.

My gggggg grandparents are Henry Cassels Sr & Margaret Mitchell who resided in Craven county. I show that Henry & Margaret were married in Charleston SC July 1734.

Their children are William, Hannah, Mary (my ggggg grandmother, m. John Lee), James, Benjamin, John, Henry Jr, Lydia & Jacob.
Has anyone done any research on this line.

I would like to know who Henry's parents were.

I know that some of my Cassell (Cassels) relatives left Scotland for Marion, Whiteside County, Illinois. Most of my family were in Fife (County of, or as some said, Kingdom of). I don't know that that is very close, but it may be a start.

I am descended from James Cassel and Isabella Maxwell. James appears to be the child of James Cassel and Janet Laing. James and Isabella's daughter Elizabeth married Andrew Oakley and moved to Ong Nebraska from Marion Illinois. Their daughter Alice married Henry A. M. Vauck. My grandfather Edward was their oldest child.

There is a book that was written about the Georgia Cassels. I can't remember the name of the book but I found out about it at the Museum in Midway Georgia. They could tell you the name. They have a copy and the library in Gainsville, GA also has a copy. I hope this helps.

She married Robert Wands 28 Nov 1841 in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland and she died 29 Nov 1882 in Holytown, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Do not know if she and Robert had any children and I do not know her parents names.

I can't find James Cassels and Isabella Maxwell in my Cassels family,
but have you searched www. scotsorigins.com.
It seems James Cassels, son of James Cassels and Janet Lang was born
in 29 Jan 1822 in Beatties Craggs, Kettle, Fife.
He and Isabella Maxwell were married in 1856 at Kennoway Fife
Isabella was 27.
Kettle is near Cupar in Fife Kennoway is also close by
You can get into the Scottish censuses at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

There is a James Cassels and Isabella Ritchie having a daughter
Elizabeth in 1868 in Cupar Fife

My Great grand father was Francis Kennedy Cassels 1859-1929 son of John of Oporto grandson of James Cassels physician in Lancaster.

Searching for information regarding John and Elizabeth Cassels (both born about 1809 in South Carolina). Elizabeth is buried in Van Zandt County, Texas (Holly Springs Cemetery). Her daughter Amanda married W.W. Dunn. Elizabeth came to Texas very late in life. John appears to have died prior to the trek to Texas. They would be my 3rd-great grandparents.

My great grandfather, Wesley Durham, married Mary Cassels. They named my grandfather Thomas Quarterman Durham. I have been trying to find the name of my Mary Cassels' father. Wesley Durham was born 6/26/1812 died 5/22/1882. Mary Cassels, was born 11/18/1821 and died 2/1/1877. They lived in Decatur County, Georgia and at one time in Gadsden Co., Florida. I believe I am descended from William Henry Cassels b: 22 Sept. 1797 , died September 1857 who married 1. Lavinia Daniel 2 a Mrs.Chester. He was from the Cassels family of Midway in Liberty County, Ga. He was son of Elias and Sarah Jones Cassels and was founder of the Methodist Church in Bainbridge, Ga. James Cassels and Henrietta Munn

I am looking for information on Henrietta Munn who married James Cassels, Cassells, Cassills in Barony Parish, Glasgow Scotland in 1849. They had two children, Henrietta, b. 1851 and Catherine, b. 1850 both in Barony Parish, Lanark County, Glasgow. They all seemed to have disappeared after 1851. Any information would be helpful.

My name is Daniel Hicks ref page 136. I was born 22nd March (not 20th) 1960 and am the last person chronologically in the 1961 version of the "Records of the Family of Cassels and Connections". I have recently scanned and updated much of this book and would be more than happy to share family history information with you. If you are the same Bryan who has a copy of the book then in answer to your question yes at least one other copy of this book exists.
