My father, Jerry (Gerald) Cassie had an urge to find our roots about 10 years ago. He found quite a bit including a published book entitled, "The Cassie Family". I remember reading through the book, seeing my name and seeing the original roots going back to New Aberdeenshire, Scotland. They then went to Saskatchewan, Canada I believe. My dad has the book. He grew up in Michigan on a farm and his dad is from Saskatchewan, CA.
