I too have Cassie ancestors from Aberdeen, Scotland and have recently started researching my family tree. My mother told me about a George Cassie who called my grandfather, Harry Cassie, for Cassie quesitons. Only thing is this George Cassie is from Canada not California, Ontario to be more exact.
