My ggrandmother is Annociade Catalon, she gave birth to a
Scholastie (Celeste) LABAUVE, in 1882 in Vermilion Parish, LA. From all indications she was married to a Alexandre LABAUVE, in 1877. She and Alexandre had another daughter
named ELODIE, who was born in 1884, in Vermilion Parish, also. Out there somewhere is a Catalon / CATALAN family

Celeste LABAUVE married a RENE' GODEFROY /GODFREY
in Feb 1899, in Lafayette Parish, LA., and they later resettled
in the Liberty County, YTexas area.
