Joseph Catallo, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Monday, November 23, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Catallo of the family home; daughters, Joanne M. Schalbar and husband, Merle of Albuquerque, and Lucy Ann Wines and husband, John of Beverly Hills, CA; one grandchild, Kim Ly and husband, Dat of Shawnee Mission, KS; one great-grandchild, Camaren Ly; half-sister, Mary Vigil of Pueblo, CO; nephew, Paul Cincoronella of Raton, NM; niece, Beatrice VanVeen of Denver, CO; and many cousins in Michigan and California. Joseph worked in the Coal industry in Dawson and Koehler, NM and retired from Sandia National Labs. He was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and the Elks Club Lodge #461 in Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE, with Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. to Rosary.
