Cataluna origins

Would anyone know the origins of the name Cataluna? This is possibly my great-grandmother's surname. Her name was Antoinette and she was born in Brazil on December 22, 1874.

She married Joseph Di Giacomo and lived in Philadelphia, PA at 22nd and Clearfield Streets in North Philadelphia, PA. Joseph was a shoemaker by occupation and they had 7 children: My grandfather Donato (Danny), Marshall (Mushy), Alvera (Vera), Marcel, Helen, and 2 other children whose names presently escape me.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
