Hi Wesley
My Cathcarts too come from the Ballymena area - Tullygarley/Tullaghgarley to be precise. My earliest ancestors are William Cathcart & Rebecca Bartholemew whose marriage is recorded in the 1st Prebyterian Ballymena reocrds in 1815.
I was in Belfast recently recording Cathcarts in PRONI and I looked at baptisms in Connor Presbyterian and found an entry for

Robert s/o William CATHCART & Jane FURBONS (?) of Lisantha
It was not easy to read and I am wondering whether Robert is one of yours. If the mmn should be Forbes I would like to note my records.
Happy to give further details of my line - surely the Cathcarts in this area (numerous though they are)are connected in some way to each other, albeit a long way back.
As a general querry that you may be able to help with as a'local' - what sort of burial records are there and are they available? I have found some Graveyard inscription records (Monumental Inscriptions)but doubt whether any of mine could afford stones.
Look forward to hearing from you
Elaine Bye (my mother was the Cathcart)
