Hello I am Hughie Fawcett an my GGG Grandparents were John Daugherty born August 13, 1804 at Weavers Old Stand which is right by Armburst,Westmoreland County, PA USA an he married Catherine Leasure born June 1812 an died in July 1874 in Penn Township,Westmoreland County,PA they were Farmers an lived by Abers Creek an were buried at the Buelah United Presbyterian Church Cemetery which was located on Pleasant Valley Road they had ten children an their oldest son was My GG Grandparents he was William Leasure Daugherty born 1831 in Millgrove, Westmoreland County,PA an William married Mary Margaret McWilliams born 1838 down in Ardara,PA her parents were John McWilliams an Mary Duff born abt 1802 an their home was located where the Ardara Presbyterian Church is located today an William Leasure Daugherty was in the PA 6TH HVY Artillery the PA 212TH Regiment they protected the Capitol down in Washington D.C. while General Sheridancleaned out The Shenandoah Valley while the PA 6TH an The PA 212TH Regiment protected the supply line down to the Capitol an they were with DeRussey's Regiment. Mary Margaret McWilliams died in 1916 an William Leasure Daugherty died in 1917 an are buried in Irwin Union Cemetery in Irwin,Westmoreland County,PA. My Great Grandparents were Lobingier Leasure Daugherty born abt 1862 In Penn Township along Rt 130 at Daughertys Grove where The Log Cabin was located that William Leasure Daugherty bought off of Lizzie McWilliams in late 1700's or early 1800's an the furniture was all handcarved by Lobingier an William an the windows were thin so they were able to pu rifles out the windows to protect themselves from the Indians an Lobingier Leasure Daugherty married Matilda Nancy Kinemond born in Hickory ,Washington County,PA in 1870 an she died in 1955 in North Irwin an Lobingier Leasure Daugherty died January 1, 1899 an is buried in Irwin Union Cemetery in Irwin,PA an a few years later Tillie married George Henry Gamber from Rye Township in Perry County,PA they are all buried in Irwin Union Cemetery in Irwin,PA an Lobingier Leasure Daugherty an Maltilda Kinemond had one son My Grandfather an his name was Clarence Hilliard Daugherty born 1895 born in North Irwin,PA an Clarence married Marion Gertrude Harper born 1897 from West Bromwich, England an Clarence died in August 1967 an Marion died on February 15, 1988 they are buried in Restland Memorial Cemetery on Patton Avenue in Monroeville, Allegheny County,PA. PLEASE DO YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION AN WHO MY GGGG GRANDPARENTS WERE AN WHO THEIR SIBLINGS WERE AN WERE THEY FROM IRELAND OR NORTHERN GERMANY AN WHAT SHIP DID THEY COME OVER TO AMERICA ON.
