His parents were William H. Caulkins and Josephine Stanton. (Josephine was my husband's great, great aunt.) Clarence and Jessica Caulkins three children all born in Big Timber, Sweet Grass Co, Montana where Clarence was a Dry Goods Merchant, were:1) Clarence Adelbert, Jr born 20 Oct 1898. He is listed as a student at University in Missoula MT in 1918 Draft Registration. He is listed as an architect in Sonoma , CA in 1930 census. Also listed as architect in Santa Rosa, CA where he died 22 Nov 1964. 2) Charles C Caulkins, born 25 Oct 1901 was a physician in Napa, CA. where he died in Sept 1997. He married Irma Stark in 1939. She died in Missoula, MT in 2002 at the age of 100. 3) daughter also named Jessica was born 13 May 1909. She died in 1997 in Santa Clara, CA.
