I have four Schelhammer photos, a wedding certificate and a baptismal certificate for this family – which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. The Cabinet Card photos are of Charles Schelhammer (taken in Braddock, PA), Maude (Horner) Schelhammer and children Walter and Minnie (location not shown), Charles and Maude’s wedding photo (taken in Johnstown, PA), and the photo of Maude’s mother, Maria Horner (taken in Johnstown, PA).

The 30 April 1931 wedding certificate is for Walter J. Schelhammer and Ethel Jane Warfel, with the names of witnesses, those in the bridal party, and the names of the guests.

The 16 March 1934 baptismal certificate is for the daughter of Dolores Florence Schelhammer, daughter of Walter J. and Ethel Jane Schelhammer.

Ancestry OneWorldTree shows that Charles Schelhammer married Maud/Maude Horner 24 Mar 1898. The Cambria Co., PA 1900 census shows Charles Schellhamer, born Aug 1870 in Germany, with wife Maud, born Oct 1871, and 11 mo. old son, Walter, born Jun 1899. Maud Horner is in the 1880 census for Cambria Co., PA, 8 yr. old daughter of David I. and Maria Horner. In 1900 Cambria Co. census, David J. and Maria Horner are shown, with David’s DOB: Mar 1833, while Maria was born Feb 1831. Daughter of Charles and Maud, Minnie, is age 7 in the 1910 census Cambria Co., and OWT shows she was born Aug 1902.

Walter John Schellhammer’s wife, Ethel Warfel, was born Sep 1899, and is in the 1900 census for Cambria Co., PA, where she is with parents James and Emma. Daughter of Walter and Ethel was Dolores, born March 1934, who by 2009 lived in Johnstown, PA with married name of Dolores F. Causer. She died Jan 2010 and her online obituary shows her husband was Calvin J. Causer.
