The Israel Causey homeplace in Austell, Cobb Co., Ga. is being designated a historical site. The house & remaining land which has been in the Maxham family for quite some time now has been sold. The origingal house(built approx. 1834) & several outbuildings have been saved on a small plot of land. It is my understanding there will be a historical marker placed there. The remaining land is being developed with houses ranging in the $300,000 price range according to my information. Just thought this might be of interest to other decendants of this family.
