Leslie Herbert Cauthorn was born on Aug. 29, 1880 in Calvin Twp. (Jewell Co.), KS. As of 1917, he lived in Mankato (Jewell Co.), KS. On Jul. 24, 1917, he joined the Sons of the American Revolution, on behalf of the service of his Revolutionary War ancestor, Joseph Martin.

Leslie Cauthorn died on Feb. 17, 1964 in Kansas.
