Henry, you say that your grandfather was Andrea Gardella, married to a Rosa. My great grandfather was Andrea Gardella, born Dec 11, 1863 (or 1862), married Rosa Barbieri. They lived for some time in Michigan and are both buried in Detroit. Their children were James (Giacomo), Marie, John (Giovanni), Rosa & Louise. Andrea possibly had a sister named Carolina. Can you tell me more info on your relatives? Could they be the same?
