Hi Pablo... I am from Pernambuco too. We must be cousins. The Cavalcanti are the largest family in Brazil, cause we descend from the same couple: Filippo, a noble Italian man and Catarina, a noble Portuguese woman. They came to Brazil to colonize the new land in the midle of the XVI century. They had 11 children. I dont know your ancestres, but i am sure we are related somehow. I wish you luck. Hi, sorry if i am too late... We are very distant cousins. I am a brazilien Cavalcanti girl. A noble florentine man, Filippo, came to Brazil in the midle of XVI century to colonize the "New Would"; he got married to a Portuguese woman, Catarina, from a family named Albuquerque. They had 11 children. Today, the Cavalcanti are the largest family in Brazil. I hope you find your ancesters too. Lilian

Did your Jose Andersen Cavalcanti have two brothers by the name of Augusto Andersen Cavalcanti and Roberto Andersen Cavalcanti. If so their parents were Torquato Bezerra Cavalcanti and Helga M. Andersen.

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. I`m from germany. My englisch is not the best. Sorry. My Grandfather was Emilio Georg Cavalcanti, born 25.06.1911 in Jerusalem. He`s father was Georg Cavalcanti, he went vom Italy to Jerusalem. He was a Archiologe. I also have a coat of arms.

Can anybody help me to find any ancestors ?

Are you by any chance related to Andre Cavalcanti. He is a descendant of Torquato Bezerra Cavalcanti and Helga Andersen Cavalcanti. I have lost touch with him. Helga and my gr-grandmother Andrea Elvira Skau were sisters. Any help would be great. Thank you.
