Hi my name is Chris and I am researching my G.Grandfather, Carl Wilhelm BERG who was a merchant seaman from Sweden and jumped ship (according to family info) around 1866 in Port Adelaide South Australia. He became a hairdresser and tobacconist and had a shop in Hutt St, Adelaide.
He married Amelia BEARD and had 12 children. I and a cousin now have complete trees of his children, but have failed to find out anything of his past. Any help would be appreciated.
