Classification: Query
Our Cavey cousin, Will Chambers, will be in town for several weeks in August and September. Will has contacts at the Trolley Stop in Ellicott City, so we’re planning a mini-Cavey reunion on Saturday, September 15, from 12-4pm. I’m going to pick up my dad from his assisted living home and bring him to the reunion. It would sure be nice to see you there. Additional details are in Will’s e-mail below, and you are certainly welcome to contact either Will or me.
I love the part where he says, “The Galloways are invited to wear their tartans and bring their bag pipes, the Keys will sing the Star Spangled Banner, the Caveys will drink beer and, the Chambers will be their charming selves.”
Please spread the word! Hope to see you there! It should be a lot of fun.
Thanks,
Debi

Subject: Family re-union We will get together
Hi Debi, spoke with your Dad and he is very enthusiastic about having a family re-union. I have reserved Saturday Sept. 15th. at the Trolley Stop in Ellicott City. The private room will accommodate 70 people, I hope there will be enough room for the Chambers, Galloway Cavey and Key clan and, our extended families, including the Coulbournes and Knights. We will start with a lunch and will have until 4 P.M. to to clear the room. We will order lunch from their menu, their prices are very reasonable and, their crab soup and crab cakes are out of this world. Plenty of free parking in the rear of the resturant. The Galloways are invited to wear their tartans and bring their bag pipes, the Keys will sing the Star Spangled Banner, the Caveys will drink beer and, the Chambers will be their charming selves.
Your Dad said he will get out a flyer and contact your line. I will get busy at my end and get the word out as we are pressed for time. If you have any volunteers, put them to work. We should request that those who attend bring family documents, photos, etc. I will arrive in Severna Park on Wednesday August 22 and return home October 6th. We will get together after I arrive and go over the details. I am excited, we will have a lot of fun and, make many new contacts. Keep in touch.
