Josiah C. Cavin was my GGrandfother.He did live in Iowa.He was born in1846.and was married to Elizabeth Ann Arnold.He was named after an uncle that I have no info on.I do have a letter that was written by my Great uncle that Hands down the story of how 2 of the 9 children left home.There names were Josiah and william.Both boys were in the Union army.My great uncle was John William Cavin and also resided in Iowa most of his life.if my information ties in with any one elses please let me know and i will go into more details.
