I would like to contact any of the people working on the Wilkinson co., MS Cavin lines. My g grandmother was REBECCA Cavin who md GEORGE NEAL ASHLEY.
She was the grand daughter of JOHN Cavin, born 1807 in SC, moved to Wilkinson co. MS with his brothers, WILLIAM and MOSES who where born in Tenn., possibly Sevier co., and their Parents, THOMAS and MARGARET BRUFF Cavin.
JOHN Cavin md MAHULDA [Huldy] PERRY d/o GEORGE and NANCY ROGERS PERRY.
Their children were:
1. MALINDA Cavin md. DAVID MURRAY
2. JOHN MELVIN Cavin md SARAH JANE PERRY, his 1st cousin
3. HIRAM Cavin died during the Civil War
4. MAHILDA [Huddy]Cavin md JOSEPH N. 'Ben' ELLSBERRY
5. GEORGE Cavin died during the Civil war
