I think I can help, Did your Father live in Havana? My family is from there. I believe he is a cousin of my grandfather Enrique Cayado, which is also my name and my father's name, and my son's name. I have a family tree and it shows that Pedro Pablo Cayado (my great great grandfather) was born in 1857 in San Martin del Valles Villaviciosa, Asturias in Spain. The same place your father came from. I hope this helps you a little. My great grandfather Enrique Cayado, son of Pedro, had many cousins that visited from that area in Spain and some moved to Cuba. It is very rare to find the surname Cayado in Cuba or the US because they were very well to do people in Spain and had no reason to leave Spain. Now if you were to look up Cayado in Spain, it would be like looking for a Martinez in Mexico City. I will research the little information I have and see what my father has to say.

My father's name was Vicente Cayado Cayado of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. He died in July of 1967 after living in Cuba since 1913.
He was born 1n March 1907. I now live in Connecticut, United States and like to know if
I have any family either here or in Spain. My phone number is 860-659-1611. I would love to get to meet
any family members on my father's side. He died when I was three years old and never got to
meet anyone on his side.

Respectfuly,

Nereyda
