I just wanted to add that these people lived in Christian Co., Ky. Parmelia I believe is myggreat aunt who is St.Clair Violet sister .They came from Clay Co., Mo. and moved to Ky.,Because their Parents & 3 siblings died of Cholera?

Thomas H. Cayce, 73, Almond, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999, at St. Michael's Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield with the Rev. Gregory Coulthard officiating. Burial will be in Almond Village Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the services at the church.

Mr. Cayce was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Paducah, Ky., a son of the late George and Jenny (Miller) Cayce.

He was a veteran of World War II. He was married to Nancy M. Young on Aug. 14, 1956, in the town of Lanark.

Survivors include his wife, Almond; three sons, Mark, Wautoma, LeRoy (Jackie), Almond, and Donald (Jodi), Plainfield; three daughters, Beverly (Bryan) Kramer, Wautoma, Linda (Greg) Vercauteren, Appleton, and Gail (Steve) Heuser, Greenville; one sister, Hannabel "Toots" DeBord, Bancroft; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Miller Cayce, and a sister, Jane Bird.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.

McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born April 9, 1947, in Montgomery County, son of William Cayce and Fannie Wooten Cayce.

Mr. Cayce was owner of Don's Radiator Shop. The business will remain open and operated by his wife of 32 years, Mrs. Connie Cayce. He was also a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He was friends with the Bikers Who Care.

Survivors include his wife Connie Oldham Cayce; daughters Shannon Cayce of Clarksville and Donna Earnhart of Atlanta; brothers Michael Cayce and Billy Roy Cayce, both of Clarksville; sisters Pamela Wallis and Faye Burkhart both of Clarksville; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Taylor, Brian Parson, Wally O'Bryan, Jason Cayce, Richard Cayce, Bobby Davidson, Gracey Appleton, and Bobby Seay.

Biker or casual dress will be appropriate for the visitation and funeral service. All bikes are welcome.

Arrangements in the care of McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home, 647-3371.

Survivors include three sons, William Roy Cayce, Don Cayce and Mickey Cayce; two daughters, Faye Burkhart and Pamela Wallis; and a brother, Slim Wooten, all of Clarksville; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Wood II, Jason Casey, Richard Casey, John "Bubba" Wallis, Bobby Dean Seay Jr., Billy Seay, Drew Frey, Kris Rose, Mike Parr, Stephen Seay, and Davis Page.

Beulah was born 21 Dec 1888 married Warren Wesley BUCK and lived in St Louis. She died 14 Jun 1977

I have now dates for Lewis and Anna Olia Millers marriage all I have is the date for their son Avery's marriage to Ethel Carothers which was Dec 1919 in South Bend, St Joseph, In and that Avery died 14 Apr 1978 in Cassopolis, Mi. I don't Desend from the Cays but from the Millers.
I'm looking for the death of Lewis and Anna Olia and there son Robert and his wife Marjorie.

Leslie Burr Cayce did not have a brother Pleasant, but he did have an uncle Pleasant Cayce (b 1811 d: 1849) Pleasant Cayce did have a daughter Elizabeth (b: 12 JUN 1842 d: 1877), I have her as marrying Edwin Deloach Killebrew (b: 1832 d: 1887) on 11 AUG 1859.

Watching TLC, saw same picture I have on my wall.
Only the picture I have doesn't have Edgar Cayce in it.

Hi! My name is Julia. My great-great grandmother was Mary Bell Ledford. The other relatives in the picture were Frank Ballinger Ledford (her father), Nancy Coomer (her mother), her sisters(Sade, Alifair), and brothers(Millard, and Everitt). We feel that the picture was taken around the 1890's in or around Harlan, Ky. (At least that is where we feel they were living at the time according to my grandmother (a Spurlock)and daughter to Mary Ledford who married James Spurlock.

You are absolutely right, that's what I get for trying to go by memory! My g-g-g-grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Cayce Kimbro, born in 1833, the daughter of Fleming Cayce and Cynthia Little. Fleming was the son of Shadrach Cayce II and Ann Flowers. Fleming's brother was William, who was the father of Thomas, who was the father of Leslie Burr, who was the father of Edgar. Fleming and Thomas were first cousins, and Mary Elizabeth and Leslie Burr were second cousins.
Thanks for correcting me. There are Elizabeths all over the place in the Cayce line, and I have a hard time keeping them straight.

Do you know the dates of her bith and death? My grandmother's grandmother was Elizabeth Cayce, (she went by Bettie and was known to my family as Aunt Betts.), I don't know if she is the one you are looking for, but may have been married previously?? She was Edgar's father Leslie Burr's cousin, her father was Leslie's brother Pleasant Cayce if I remember right. She was married to Romulus S. Kimbro about 1850 and was the mother of my great-grandfather Adolphus Agustus Kimbro. They lived in Hickman County, KY and Fulton County, KY.

You may want to contact the Cayce Museum at (803) 796-9020, I'm sure they will be able to assist you. Also, noticed your surnames listed. There is a very old cemetary in Cayce, SC-Granby that has folks with your surname listed in it...(ie. James Cayce, Elizabeth Rae Cayce, just thought you might want that information too, if you do not already have it!

I have a William Cayce b: 8-7-1782 Va. married /? unknown to me . His parents are Archibald & Phoebe Cayce. Phoebe's maiden name is Farmer. Her parents are Elan & Phoebe Farmer. Archibald parents are Robert & Jane Cayce . Jane's maiden name is unknown to me. Archibald & Phoebe had 10 children that I have record of . Is this the same William Cayce you are searching for ?
