Our family Cayo (Cadieux) came from Canada into Vermont down into the Northampton area of MA. I've been able to trace back with documentation to Pierre Cadieux from Canada into Vermont. The name change took place in Winooski, Vermont, however one descendent in Northampton either choose to keep or go back to the name Cadieux, I have more info if you would like to know more.
