Charles Cazalet, tanner and glue maker, Cork, Ireland, abt. 1800

Classification: Query
Surnames: Cazalet, Gonne, Townsend, Townley
John Cazalet, b. 1831 in New York, listed Charles Cazalet as his father, on his marriage license to his second wife Sophie Lundgren. His mother's last name is unreadable, but it is Mary Jane Ebb____?
There is a notice in the Portland, Maine, Argus, from 1821, listing the marriage of Charles Cazalet to Judith Smith in Portland.
I have also found a Charles Cazalet, who is listed as a tanner and glue-maker living in Blackpool in Cork, Ireland, around 1800.
There are also five Cazalet girls who marry men in the Diocese of Cork and Ross in Ireland around 1800. Some of the men were Gonne, Townley, and Townsend.
Any help in tying all of this together would be appreciated.
