My line has been spelled Cearley until I get to my gg-grandfather & he's been found spelled Kerley, Curley and Carley. The line is as follows:

grandfather Elias Andrew Cearley b. 8/5/1889 d. 8/27/1976
m. Jewell Eunice Flannery 3/4/1923

g-grand Robert Newton Cearley b. 9/17/1859 d. 5/19/1940
m. Rebecca Davis
m. Catherine Coffman

gg-grand W.R. "John" Curley b. 1818 Alexander Co. N.C.
m. Matilda Davis

Robert Newton & his family along with Matilda and the remaining children moved to Texas in 1888. I have info indicating W.R.'s father was William CURLEY b. 1786 in N.C. and was married to Drucilla ? b. 1802.

If anyone has any info to add or correct I would be interested in hearing from you.
