Rosie Aragon Ceballos, 62, a resident of Victorville for 13 years and Barstow for 27 years, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at home in Victorville with her seven children by her side. Rosie was born in Belen, N.M., on Feb. 23, 1941, and she lived in the High Desert for more than 35 years. She worked at the Barstow Convalescent Hospital and Barstow Station.She enjoyed reading her Bible and crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.She was proceeded in death by her mother, Ramona Baca. Survivors include her children, Desi and Roger Castillo, Pam Holguin, Randy and Paula Castillo, Nicole Aragon and Manual Ceballos, sisters and brothers, Monie Ulibarri of Belen, N.M., Jennie Dettrey of Barstow, Reina Marquez of Victorville, Fermin Aragon, Mary Perez, and Nellie Garcia all of Barstow; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services were held in Victorville.
