I am looking for anyone with ties to my great grandfather Aniceto Cecilio y Ochoa from Segovia, Spain.
He emigrated to Puerto Rico in the late 1800s during the Spanish-American war, and had an address listed as Ponce, Puerto Rico.
He then moved to the Philippines in 1900 after being honorably discharged by the US Army.

My father's name is Carlos Cecilio and he is from Culebra, Puerto Rico. He is a Jr of Carlos Cecilio who also lived in Puerto Rico. Can you please reply. I now live in the States.

Looking for anyone who knows of a Sgt. Aniceto Cecilio (changed from Santa Cecilia) from Puerto Rico, originally from Segovia, Spain. He was then stationed in the Phillippines as part of the Spanish-American war, and these are his children in the Phillippines:

Hello,

I'm not sure if an Aniceto Cecilio\Santa Cecilia rings a bell in your family's history. All variations of Cecilio\Cecilia supposedly come from a derivation of Siciliano, which means that the family goes back to Italy eventually.

Aniceto is my great grandfather, and also went to Puerto Rico from Segovia, Spain. He then joined the US Army, and went to the Phillippines as part of an army assignment in the Spanish-American war.
