Yes, we need some yDNA samples taken in both the U.S. and in England to prove of disprove whether Thomas is a Chaffe family member from England or just assumed that name when he came to the New World. Did he jump ship? Is he an unnamed servant? Just where did he come from? A lot of work still needs to be done to identify who Thomas really is.
