Shirley Chain Glorius has done a lot of research on the family, and is the best source I can suggest. She has posted much of her research with Ancestry.com. I believe in order to get to the information, you have to be a paying member.
I do know that there were at least two other Margaret Chain's before the one you're researching:

MARGARET CHAIN born Nov 2, 1788 Tyrone Twp, Fayette Co, PA died Dec 15, 1849 Mercer, OH or Neshannock Falls, PA; buried in Neshannock Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New Wilmington, Lawrence Co, PA Married JAMES C GAULT/GAUT, son of MATTHEW GAULT/GAUT and MARY BIRD born Jan 11, 1783 died April 15, 1859; buried in Neshannock Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New Wilmington, Lawrence Co, PA; served as a Major and wounded in War of 1812. Married March 2, 1809 Dunbar, Fayette Co, PA; married by Rev James Guthrie, Pastor, Lauel (Laurel?) Hill Congregation of Dunbar Had eleven children

2. MARGARET CHAIN born May 20, 1802 died Oct 23, 1862
