Looking for info on a Chain family from Fayette Co.,PA. I believe Margaret Chain was born in Fayette Co.,PA Nov.12th 1788. Father's name was William Chain who was probably born in Laine,Ireland. Mother's name was Margaret (?), her maiden name is unknown. My gr-grandmother (3x) married James Gault and moved to Lawrence Co. She died Dec.14,1849. If you have any info on this family from her parents and earlier I would love to hear from you. I have lots of info from Margaret Chain Gault and her husband James Gault to present. Would love to hear from anyone who thinks they have more info, or I would be willing to share what I have.
